My name is Tina and I have developed this site to help people like me

find gadgets and other items used for hiking and backpacking.

I am always looking for lighter, warmer, and multi use items.

My goal has been to carry everything I need, but have it be as light as possible.

The first time I went backpacking, my pack and many of the items in it,

came from finds at yard sales and flea markets.

My pack at the time, not counting food or water, weighed 55lbs.

My latest pack not counting water, weighed 25lbs.

And I must say the last trip was much nicer.

I will, In time, be adding videos and item reviews.
